This is the kitchen at Shepherds Pie in Rockport (view from our seats opposite); we had a very interesting broccoli rabe. I had their Shepherds Pie, naturally, which was much better than my home-made stuff. Gale had local chicken, which was a bit on the spicy side. Dessert was buried in a mountain of whipped cream. My apple crisp had a whole apple in it, I’m quite sure! The service was also very good. And the nice view of the harbor didn’t hurt the evening at all.
